Michigan quartet The Lippies have announced via their social media that the band is calling it a day. The post was, admittedly, short, and didn’t delve into the reasons for disbanding:
The Lippies most recent release was a cover of Jay Reatard‘s “My Shadow” this past Friday, 07 May 2021. Prior to that the band released the Pop ‘n’ Lockdown EP in April 2020.
