Two weeks ago ska supergroup The Pomps announced their third LP Partial Eclipse of The Pomps, and released the first single “That’s Not a House.” That song has been living rent free in my head ever since but, hey, it’s got a room mate now. Thanks Pomps.
They’ve released the second single from the album and this one is “World Full of Traps.” There’s no sophomore slump here and it’s looking like The Pomps will keep up their output of stellar music. I’d be hard-pressed to think how they’d mess up the rest of the album.
See the new video below. Partial Eclipse of The Pomps is out 21 February 2025 via Bad Time Records, and you can swing by their Bandcamp or the Bad Time store to preorder on vinyl or digital download, or Spotify to hear more of their previous music.
