Continuing their Dead Formats series of covers comps, Pure Noise has now released the tracks by Bearings, Carpool Tunnel, and Knuckle Puck.
Starting with Bearings, the band gets the unenviable task of covering Canada’s wildly successful Sum 41 with “Motivation.”
Next up comes Carpool Tunnel with the unenviable task of covering The Smiths, but they do a bang up job on “There Is A Light That Never Goes Out.”
Last we have Knuckle Puck who have the unenviable task of covering… (squints… adjusts glasses)… Noah Kahan? Who the heck is that?
Honestly, that last is my fave of the bunch.
With these three releases we now have 3/4s of the comp available. The comp comes out 17 Oct 2024, and you can pre-save, preorder, stream, and more from this link page.
