One thing to love about Budapest punk rock band Bankrupt is their penchant for releasing their songs in English and Magyarul (that’s what the Hungarian language is called in Hungarian, mom). It’s a treat to see how the band adapts the flow of both languages into the same music, almost always seamlessly. Skill, kids. They’ve got it.
That leads us to the band’s new single “Idiot Tax / A Hülyeség Ára”. It’s the latest in a series of singles the band has been releasing lately and TGEFM is here for it!
Hit up both versions below, and you can check out more of their releases on Bandcamp.
Bankrupt also have a couple of gigs lined up this month, an in May. Check out the details and links:
- Mar 31 Chelsea Vienna, Austria
- May 12 Dürer Kert Budapest, Hungary
