TGEFM is anxiously awaiting the brand new record from Kill Lincoln. With No Normal set to drop in days, 27 Sept from Bad Time Records, we had a chance to hear from Yasutaka “Ume” Umemoto. As anyone who has seen Kill Lincoln in the past can attest, the effervescent trombonist is a scene stealer thanks to his amazing stage dives and crowd surfs. Ume shared with us a brief recap of his top 5 stage dives and his bucket list crowd surf below.

It was pretty big packed crowd. From back side of bar I started. It was long and fast and fun! Feels like first time people gets it!!
2.Crystal Ballroom BTR tour(2023)
Longest crowd surf I’ve ever done. No joke I was on people more than 2mins. Felt like crazy fun! Thank you Summerville!! And sorry!!

There are 2 mosh pit going on. Yes 2 layers mosh pit. Inside is clock work, outside is opposite. There is a ladder in the middle of dance floor. I’ll zipline from balcony. And land it to ladder! And play little line and go jump off from that!!

Bad Dad (occasionally called Ed) has been on the periphery of the punk and punk-adjacent scene for over twenty years. While many contributors to this site have musical experience and talent, Ed’s musical claim to fame comes from his time in arguably the most punk rock Blockbuster Video district in NJ where he worked alongside members of Blanks 77, Best Hit TV and Brian Fallon. He is more than just an awful father to his 2 daughters, he is also a dreadful husband, a subpar writer, a terrible dresser and has a severe deficiency in all things talent… but hey, at least he’s self-aware, amirite?
