After seven albums as, essentially, a one-man act, Tennessee’s Heath Not Keith did the unthinkable and (gulp) added other members! Now a trio, they’ve released their first new music since 2023’s Grouchy LP with “Turn Up the Heath.” It’s still the very bubblegummy Ramonsecore, it’s now that Keith Heath gets to give his fingers a bit of a rest.
The track is the first single, and title track, from the upcoming eighth LP. We don’t have more info on that release just yet, so enjoy “Turn Up the Heath” below, and visit Bandcamp or Spotify for more music.
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, the SF/Bay Area, and now the Twin Cities. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
