Members of The Distillers, My Chemical Romance, Murder By Death, Thursday and Soul Glo have joined Gwarsenio Hall for a quarantine cover of Annie Lennox‘s “Walking On Broken Glass” as part of Two Minutes to Late Night‘s “Bedroom Covers” series.
Two Minutes To Late Night is a heavy-metal themed talk show featuring Gwarsenio Hall, the corpse-painted host and his house band, Mutoid Man featuring Steve Brodsky of Cave In and Ben Koller of Converge.
This is the 31st installment in the Patreon supported “Bedroom Covers” where Hall and friends record metal covers. Previous covers have included unique takes on Bonnie Raitt, Rush, Rage Against the Machine and Thin Lizzy among others and can be found here.
Bad Dad (occasionally called Ed) has been on the periphery of the punk and punk-adjacent scene for over twenty years. While many contributors to this site have musical experience and talent, Ed’s musical claim to fame comes from his time in arguably the most punk rock Blockbuster Video district in NJ where he worked alongside members of Blanks 77, Best Hit TV and Brian Fallon. He is more than just an awful father to his 2 daughters, he is also a dreadful husband, a subpar writer, a terrible dresser and has a severe deficiency in all things talent… but hey, at least he’s self-aware, amirite?
