Chicago noise/sludge act Urine Hell will be releasing their sophomore EP next month. Titled Weight, it’ll be out on Already Dead Tapes and Records, and follows their 2023 split with NÜDE as well as their 2022 debut EP Weakling.
Along with that announcement, they’ve delivered their single from the EP, “Hometown.” It’s as noisy as you’d expect, switching tempos and style while the chuggah chuggah bass line keeps the rhythm going.
You can preorder Weight on digital at Urine Hell’s Bandcamp, as well as at the Already Dead Bandcamp, which is where you can also preorder on cassette. More links, including streaming, can be found at their linktree page.
