New band Values Here, featuring members of Youth Of Today, Shelter and more, have released their debut song “Will Be Tomorrow” as a music video. The track is also the first single from their upcoming debut LP Take Your Time, I’ll Be Waiting, which is due out 22 Sep 2023 via End Hits Records.
The press release refers to the band as hardcore, but there’s some strong melodic punk tendencies on this song, with the vocal delivery having a lot of pop sensibilities to it at times.
Vocalist Chui says:
This song is about not giving up. When you try really hard to achieve something you’ll probably fail several times, but if you give up for sure you’ll never get it! I can’t even count all the times I failed in my life. The most difficult part is not achieving success, it’s getting up when you fall and having the perseverance to keep going.
