Vampire Slumber Party may be a full band now, but that doesn’t mean that founder Yusuf Laher won’t still throw us a solo ditty every once in a while. Admittedly a couple of days late, as one his bandmates was Festing, and the other was unavailable, he has released a cover of the classic Ramones‘ track “Pet Sematary”. It hews pretty close to the original, but Yusuf’s rendition lends a bit of an 80s New Wave-y sound.

the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
