Hamell On Trial is the nom de guerre of folk punk Ed Hamell, someone who Henry Rollins has described as having “a real attachment to truth that makes him continually vital.” If Henry Rollins is singing your praises, you must be doing something right.
He’s got a new album coming out next month, and TGEFM’s prayers have… uhhh… been answered? We get to debut the new single and lovingly animated lyric video for “Pray.” This is the second single from the upcoming Bring the Kids LP, which is the 5th LP from Hamell On Trial (if you count 2020’s The Pandemic Songs), and is due out 27 Nov 2023 via Saustex Records.
