Video premiere: Hit the town Northpark in “Teal”

Welcome to Friday! (for those in the Eastern time zone!!!) If you’re up this late, you’re either awesome, or somewhere where it is earlier (these aren’t mutually exclusive, you know).

And with the new day, we have something new to premiere for you: are back with their second single and video for their new song “Teal.” Those who have been paying attention remember we premiered their debut single “Wasteland” this past March (their “It’s On You” demo from December doesn’t count…does it?). Now we get another great new song, and a different(?) video for it. I mean, with the sound off this video could be any fun-loving pop-punk song. But as Miguel from the band describes:

I started Northpark not knowing what direction the lyrics would go but once I began writing I was put on auto pilot.

As we grew as a band i realized a lot of our experiences have been similar if not the same making this album mean so much more because we could all relate and connect to it and truly feel the emotions portrayed.

Something that differs us from most bands these days is that Northpark is 100% authentic and has been inspired by real situations, moments in time, experiences and comes from such a wide range of music influences that we bring a very unique sound to the pop punk genre.

Although we like to have fun we are nothing short of serious about Northpark and have put a lot of work into this album and can’t wait to make some noise throughout different scenes.

I think that last sentence makes a lot of sense. Serious music doesn’t mean you’re not enjoying what you’re doing. And the somber/serious tone of “Teal” isn’t inherently reflected in the video but Northpark, as a band, is.

Northpark currently has one gig coming up, and you can find information on that below. Underneath find a linktree, as well as the social and streaming links you need to support the band,
