Wow. Suntero is, like… super fit. The emo/pop artist has new video for the song “Scorpion,” and when Suntero, the nom de plume of Stefan Soltero, isn’t vocalizing at you, their making most of us look like unfit schlubs sitting at our computers (which is completely true, admit it).
Unsurprisingly, Suntero’s yoga skills aren’t just for show, either:
I wanted to create something that truly represents my lifestyle. When I’m not making music, you can find me practicing or teaching yoga. The song title, Scorpion, is a yoga pose that can be seen at the beginning and end of the video. It is also mentioned lyrically in the second verse. I play tons of Lil Peep and other emo hip hop artists in my yoga classes, and combining all these forces into one cohesive song is the energy I strive to emulate. I’m just a punk rock hip hop yogi living life to the fullest.
“Scorpion” is the lead and title track to Saunter’s recent EP, released on 07 Apr 2023. You can find that EP, and more of Suntero’s music over at Spotify.
