Breakin’ Event Fest, hosted at Pie Shop in Washington DC, will be running it’s fifth and final edition this coming August. MakeWar, The Dopamines, and Brendan Kelly will be headlining across the three nights of the event. Tired Radio, Cherub tree, American Television (who are the organizers of the event) and more will round out the festival.
Launched in 2017, the festival obviously skipped a couple of years during the pandemic, but is now back to round out and finish up the (intentional) five-year run, with each iteration taking place at the intimate, 100 capacity Pie Shop.
You can check out the event poster below, and visit the official page for tickets or more info.
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
