Supergroup Ways Away (featuring members of Boysetsfire, Samiam, Stick To Your Guns, Wish You Were Here, and more) have released their first new* music since 2022’s Torch Songs LP. “I Shoulda Brought A Gun” is a pretty strong song, and the guitars are too damned playful for their own good during the verses. The song comes with a music video which takes place entirely in some poor cabbie’s day as he lugs his fares across an increasingly stranger and stranger set of backdrops.
*Ways Away also released on their Bandcamp their cover of “Do You Compute” from January’s Drive Like Jehu tribute comp Learn to Relax.
