We Are The Union and Eve 6 have joined forces to release a cover of the Operation Ivy classic “Sound System.” The video hilariously sets the rules against corporate sponsorships, sloganeering, politic, etc.; before breaking them in glorious fashion.
You can check out the new video below, and visit We Are The Union (Bandcamp, Spotify) and Eve 6 (Spotify) to hear more.
Note – although I picked this up via WATU’s YouTube channel, it appears the good people over at Riot Fest premiered it. Good on them!
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, the SF/Bay Area, and now the Twin Cities. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
