Portland (the Maine one) trio Weakened Friends have released a new single/video from their upcoming album. “Quitter” is the title track their new LP, which is due out 19 Nov 2021 via Don Giovanni Records. It follows up their 2018 Common Blah LP.
Per the details:
Central to the record thematically is the empty threat of quitting music and “getting a real job”. Sturino wrestles with her relationship with music on the title track, shouting “I love it, but it never really feels okay”…
Rest assured the band isn’t throwing in the towel.
