Weaver Street releases new single/video “Introvert’s Anthem”

Texas act Weaver Street*, have released a new single/video. The song is titled “Introvert’s Anthem” and is the first single from their planned, forthcoming LP.

The band is made up of a trio of long-running musicians in the Dallas-Fort Worth punk scene who have found themselves, at times, playing with multiple acts (including Darlington), moving away and then back, and so on. The band got themselves back into gear when drummer Matt purchased a house, only to find that the extra building in the back used to be a recording studio. A bit of elbow grease and it was back in business.

The song is the type of 90s melodic/pop-punk that is fast, and fun. I, for one, am pumped to hear more.

The band is still setting up their socials and streaming services to, for now, we’ve got the YouTube video to keep us entertained.

*featuring musicians which you may recognize as USA-based Descendents/ALL cover act Just Like Them, as well as general covers act Wuttin’ Tarnation (along with former ALL/Goodbye Harry/The Pavers vocalist Scott Reynolds). You can now see how I didn’t want to include this whole paragraph packed into the intro, eh?
