Budapest, Hungary’s versatile punk rock band Bankrupt have released another new single in two versions, one in their native tongue, and one in English. The song is a criticism of Viktor Orban’s autocratic government, and Hungary’s seeming backward slide into becoming a puppet state for Russia.
One thing that impresses me most is how Bankrupt really massage the lyrics so that the song works 100% in both languages, instead of one just being a clumsy translation. Good job!
Hit up both versions below, and you can check out more of their releases on Bandcamp.
