A day without a new song from Australian melodic punks Nerdlinger is like a day without sunshine. So you can only imagine what it’s been like for me as their last release was back in December. Well, suns out now!
The band has a new sing “Semi Sorry” and, while that title can mean a lot of things, in this case:
Semi-Sorry is all about half assing your way to success. It’s about buckling down, creating a to do list of priorities, then just shirking it off and doing something fun instead.
Life is hectic, but deadlines are a made up construct. Take that sickie, dodge that appointment, hit snooze on the important things and run another GP on 150cc
The track is out via PEE Records. Listen below, and check out their earlier works via the Nerdlinger and PEE Records Bandcamp pages (or on Nerdlinger’s Spotify page).
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
