I know I mentioned just about every time this band releases something, but I love Hungarian punks Bankrupt, and not just because of their music. Part of their gimmick is to release each song in both their native Magyarul, as well as in English. The best part: they make it work no matter what language it is in!
And now we have their first new single(s) of the year, and their first new music since their LP Illiberal Holiday was released this past June. The track is titled “Hol van a pénz?”/”Who Will Pay?” and you can see both totally not-IP infringing videos below.
Visit them at their Bandcamp or Spotify to hear more.
You can find the new album, and more of their releases on Bandcamp and Spotify.
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
