Cardiff, UK-based weird, experimental post-punks (you know, the good kind) Obey Cobra have announced that they will be releasing their sophomore LP Mwg Drwg on 03 May 2024 via Rocket Recordings. The album will follow up 2021’s Oblong debut full-length.
Accompanying that announcement is the first pre-release single from that album, “Ten of Wands.” The track is a pulse-pounding bout of heavy hitting and fuzzy bass and beats, befitting their “warped post-punk, electronic and industrial influences.”
As for the video, well it is weird, too. You remember Time Bandits? You remember The Evil Genius’ bull skull-headed warriors. This make me think of them (I know, different animal), except looking like it was waiting to get married. Oh well.
