Wiretap Records has released the newest volume of their ongoing Attention comp series. Today’s offering, fully titled ATTENTION: A Black Lives Matter Compilation, features seventeen tracks of acoustic, rare, and cover songs by acts including Harker, The Burnt Tapes, Virginity and more.
As with each and every Attention comp, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to an organization specific to this release. Wiretap has chosen the NAACP Legal Defense Fund which, if you purchase today (June 19/Juneteenth) will get an extra boost as Bandcamp is also donating 100% of their proceeds today to the NAACP LDF.
You can check out American Television‘s cover of Op Ivy‘s “Officer” below, and head over to Bandcamp to pick up a copy of the comp. Don’t like music, but still want to help? You can hit up the NAACP LDF directly to donate.
