UK indie punks out of Gosport Rats! Rats! Rats! have released the third single, “Wogan,” from their upcoming album Heavy Petting on the Lido, which also comes as a music video. In case you didn’t follow some of that:
Gosport: Across from Portsmouth. Has a submarine on display (I’ve been aboard).
Wogan: As in Sir Michael Terence “Terry” Wogan. Life-long BBC broadcaster and host of many shows across the decades, including the eponymous Wogan talkshow (1982-1992)
Lido: Outdoor public pool or beach facility.
Got it? OK, “Wogan” (the song) follows previously-released singles “French Exchange” and “Instant BO,” both of which are also the lead and second tracks on the album. Heavy Petting on the Lido is due out 21 Sep 2026 via Horn and Hoof Records, and you can preorder it on digital download or vinyl over at Bandcamp. Find more Rats! Rats! Rats! at their Spotify.
