Aussie project (more on that in a sec) Awake/Alive has released a new song. Titled “Time is Now” and featuring Matt McCarthy, the track is a testimony on the current state of the world we live in.
Awake/Alive is a special project by Luke Baird of Melbourne-based Postscript wherein he records songs, and then sends each one off to a vocalist to put the singing chops on top of it. What we end up with are songs that have a unifying sound, but each with a refreshing, unique stamp.
Awake/Alive released a self-titled LP in 2018 (which I recommend you check out), but has reactivated for the pandemic-enforced downtime so many people seem to be stuck in.
