TGEFM will be refraining from posting news or otherwise today in support of The Show Must Be Paused and Black Out Tuesday.
I won’t speak for the other contributors of the site but, personally, I know enough on an academic level about the systemic oppression of people of color in the USA (and in other countries) to sympathize with their plight. Yet I am not ashamed to admit that I don’t know enough on an experiential level to be able to empathize with my fellow humans who are victimized by it on a daily basis.
Something is rotten in the state of Denmark. Something needs to be fixed, and urgently.
I encourage our readers to visit theshowmustbepaused.com. I won’t attest to it being the ONLY source of information but, for many, it could be a good starting point if you want to become involved.
