The Shouldabeens – The Return of The Shouldabeens

Self-Release 06 Oct 2023

I don't know what they are returning from, maybe the store, but these two made this recording their respective parts in both Michigan and California.

Why you want it: If you're a fan of Screeching Weasel, The Queers, or The Ramones, this might be up your alley.

Why you don't: Some of the songs don't have the greatest recording quality.

Top Tracks: “Private Eye”, “Creature of the Night”

The Gents – Responsible Dog Walker

Creepy Kid Records 08 Oct 2023

This is fast, noisy, raw punk, and it's good.

Why you want it: 80's style punk rock, and the Vinyl version comes with a free poop bag so you can be a responsible dog walker.

Why you don't: No reason not to want this other than it's only five songs.

Top Tracks: “Chickens”, “Parents' Evening”, “Imaginary Friend”

Products Band – Some Sudden Weather

Solid Brass Records 20 Oct 2023

The Bandcamp description of this says “tender, melodic vocals” and I can't think of a better way to describe it.

Why you want it: If you are looking for something to chill out and relax too.

Why you don't: May be a little too “punk adjacent” for some, some songs are goofy and a little bit tacky.

Top Tracks: “I Can't Praise Your Head Trip”, “Reclined Derealized 2022”

Clowns – Endless

Fat Wreck Chords 20 Oct 2023

Coming out of Melbourne Australia with an 80's metal inspired hardcore power punk sound that will intoxicate your socks off!

Why you want it: It's heavy, sounds great, and rocks!

Why you don't: If hardcore is not your thing, you might still like the last song.

Top Tracks: “Formaldehyde”, “Thanks 4 Nothing”, “Z3r0s&0n3s”
