Gooooood morning, UK!!!
For everyone else, good…. errr… whatever time it is for you. But it doesn't matter whether the sun is out or not because TGEFM is here to brighten your day or night with a brand-spanking new video from UK trio Slackrr. We've been keeping our eyes on this band since our inception back in 2020, and if they aren't one of the hardest working acts around, I don't know who is.
The video is for the song “Ebb & Flow,” which features on their Aug 2023 album Set the Night On Fire.
When I wrote “Ebb & Flow,” it was one of the last songs to be written for the record Set The Night On Fire. It is about how life will inevitably get difficult and painful at times but when you surround yourself with the right people, you can get through the tough times that life throws at you and find happiness at the end of it all. This whole record was about giving people hope of getting to that point whatever they might be going through.
This is absolutely 100% true.
Slackrr are also filling up their year with touring, gigs, festivals and more. Enough so that they've got a huge calendar graphic, so please ignore the months already past and look ahead to see when Slackrr is going to be near you (or when you can make yourself near Slackrr).
