Seattle crust punk trio Schmutzhund continue to fulfill their 2023 initiative to release a single a month. Following “Misery” and “Maskless Oppressor”, we now have March’s entry in the series “Parasite”.
This month’s entry is a bit more produced than last month’s extremely lo-fo “Maskless Oppressor” but, thankfully, not over-produced. It’s still raw and full of energy. Good stuff.
The new singles project follows up the band’s recent album III, released just this past November.

He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area.
